Regression modelling for concentration dependent mass density and specific volume of aqueous surfactant solutions

ABSTRACT. In the present work, mathematical models relating mass density and specific volume of solution with concentration for aqueous solutions anionic (sodium lauryl sulfate - SLS) cationic (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide CTAB) surfactants (0-10% (w/w)) have been investigated. The experimental studies were performed to study effect on solution. Mass increases, decreases an increase in both surfactants. Linear, quadratic, cubic, quartic, quintic, exponential fitted data check applicability. validated based coefficient determination (R2) sum square error (SSE) be unity zero, respectively. Modelling results reveal that quintic model was surfactants.
